Animal Services will be closed on Monday, Dec. 25 and Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2023, in observance of the Christmas holiday. Staff will be onsite to care for the animals in the shelter. Animal Services will re-open on Wednesday, Dec. 27, at 10 a.m.

Arlington Animal Services is closed during all City holidays. For emergencies while the Animal Services Center is closed, please call 911.

Receiving Animals

• All animal intake is closed on Monday.
• Lost animal drop-off are accepted by appointment ONLY at this time and until further notice.  
• Animals transferred to approved Adoptions Placement Partners will be handled outside of the facility in the open air.
• Owner-surrendered animals are by appointment ONLY. Please email [email protected] and an Animal Services team member will respond as soon as possible.
