Jeremiah Charles, a senior on Martin High School’s football, basketball and track and field teams, has been selected as the City of Arlington’s Student-Athlete of the Month for May 2023.

Charles excels in at every sport he competes. He was named All-District Wide Receiver in football, helped lead the Warriors to the playoffs in basketball and finished second in Triple Jump competition at the Texas UIL State Track and Field Meet.

“When you get to a 6A level, it becomes a challenge being a multi-sport athlete,” said Martin Coach Brady Cagle. “He definitely set the example for anybody that doubts that they can do it or not.”

Charles, whose favorite subject is math, accepted a scholarship to play football at the University of Nebraska where he will study Computer Engineering.
