Dog of the Week – Meet Paulina

This five-year, one-and-a-half-month-old female Retriever mix is white in color and weighs 38 pounds. While Paulina would be considered an "older" dog she is really very young at heart. She interacts well with people—staff personnel, volunteers and potential adopters that she has met. Many meet and greets have come and gone but none have resulted in her "furever" home. She remains hopeful that the right pet guardian is going to walk in the shelter door at any time and choose her. Mornings bring interactions with the staff while they clean and later the volunteers come to socialize. Both of these times are enjoyable to Paulina. She is a true joy and a favorite to all that have interacted with her. Having achieved VIP status due to being somewhat timid, Paulina can be adopted for a reduced fee. She is really ready to find her "furever" family!! Meet Paulina at Dog Adoptions (DA) 9, her ID number is A52575982.

Second Dog of the Week – Meet Andrea

This two-year, one-month-old female Pit Bull Terrier mix is white, brown and black in color and weighs 49 pounds. Andrea has been our Animal Care Supervisor's "go to dog" for having other dogs introduced to her to see how they get along, thus helping decide if they can be considered adoptable. She seems always eager to get out of her kennel and meet new friends-both the canine and "hooman" variety. Active, happy, friendly are all good adjectives to describe Andrea. VIP status has been assigned to this canine due to her length of time in the shelter. She has been in the shelter for over a month and is eager to find a new home. Being a VIP designated pet, Andrea can be adopted at a reduced adoption fee. Meet Andrea at Dog Adoptions (DA) 1, her ID number is A52429554.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration and microchip.
