South Street Art Festival

Are you a fan of art? How about music? An art festival could be just the thing for you.

For the 10th year, South Street Art Festival will be coming to the 300-500 blocks of E. South St. of the Downtown Cultural District.

The free, three-day festival, hosted by Moya Art Events, is scheduled for:

• Friday, April 5, 4 to 8 p.m.
• Saturday, April 6, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Sunday, April 7, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The festival will be full of local, regional and national artists showcasing and selling their one-of-a-kind art. The live entertainment will create a vibrant atmosphere throughout the festival.

"Come with an openness to seeing a variety of different styles of artwork,” said Steve Moya with Moya Art Events. “This festival is for all of Arlington to enjoy and it's something the residents can experience in their own backyard.”

Bands like September Moon and The Vintage Yell will perform, among others. Delicious food will be sold by vendors like Heaven’s Cakes and Sterling’s Barbecue as well as others.
The festival is free to attend with free parking on downtown streets and parking garages.

The festival is pet friendly. Participants can bring lawn chairs to enjoy the live entertainment.

No outside food, beverages, or coolers will be allowed in the festival.

Immerse yourself in the different types of art, enjoy live music, and try new foods at the festival, it’s an experience you wouldn’t want to miss!
