Known for his black-and-white landscapes, Adams is credited with helping shape photography as a fine art. An exhibit featuring some of Adams' favorite photos is coming to downtown Arlington. Ansel Adams: Masterworks, a collection of more the 45 photos Adams personally selected from his catalogue, opens May 3 at the Arlington Museum of Art (AMA), 201 W. Main Street.
