The Dallas-Fort Worth-Area metro area is considered one of the top 10 best places to buy a home in 2023, according to the National Association of Realtors.
The association’s report weighed several factors, including job growth, home affordability, population growth and available home inventories, when identifying which housing markets to watch for buyer demand in 2023 and beyond.
Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington is experienced a growing influx of tech workers, which helped it land the No. 3 spot on the association’s list. “This is another emerging tech in the U.S., with many new start-ups moving in this area. Not only is housing more affordable than nationally, but this area provides more options to buyers,” the report said.
The region saw a 6.5% increase in job growth from October 2021 to October 2022, according to the association’s report.
