Amazon has announced six new delivery stations for Dallas-Fort Worth, including one that will create new full-time and part-time job opportunities in Arlington.

The new delivery stations will power the last mile of Amazon’s order process and help increase efficiency of deliveries for customers. Packages are shipped to delivery stations from neighboring Amazon fulfillment and sortation centers and loaded into vehicles for final delivery to customers. Arlington’s Amazon delivery station is set to open later this year at 2400 Centennial Drive, just north of Division Street and west of SH 360. Jobs will start at $15 per hour with benefits.

You can read more about the delivery station and the new jobs it will bring to Arlington in the latest Invest in Our Economy newsletter. This quarter’s publication also features stories on the opening of Cane Rosso in Downtown, how family owned Polycoat Products has begun manufacturing from a new Arlington plant, grant opportunities for restaurants affected by the coronavirus, and more business news happening across the city.
