The City will host a free paper shredding and electronics recycling event from 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 5, 2025, on the southeast corner of Mitchell Street and Cooper Street (UTA parking). Proof of Arlington residency will be required to participate.
Paper shredding is limited to two boxes per vehicle and will end when the truck is full.
Electronics accepted for recycling include:
- Televisions (flat screens and cathode ray tube or CRT)
- Computers/laptops and computer components
- Office equipment
- Stereo equipment
- Learning consoles
- Cameras
- Cellphones/tablets
- Small corded appliances
- Microwaves
- Washers/dryers
- Audio and video equipment
- Batteries and Backups
Electronic not accepted:
- Refrigerators, freezers, wine coolers, air conditioners or other items containing Freon.
