Recipients & Award Winners

Every year, the Arlington Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Committee sponsors art and essay writing competitions for area students. The best examples of literature and original art are awarded cash prizes and scholarships. In addition, awards and recognition are given to winners of the MLK Spirit of Service Collegiate Scholarship, MLK Education, Government, and Community Awards, and from the MLK Step Showcase.
