Committee Announces First “Spirit of Service” Collegiate Scholarship

The Arlington MLK Celebration Committee is proud to announce its first Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. “Spirit of Service” Scholarship.

This essay competition is open to eligible students attending UT Arlington or Tarrant County Community College - Southeast Campus in Arlington.

The theme is “Advancing the Dream: Our Greatness, My Service.” The entry deadline is Friday, December 19, 2015.

This $1,000 scholarship is made possible by the Arlington MLK Celebration Committee and its founding sponsors: the City of Arlington, UT Arlington, Tarrant County College, the Arlington Independent School District and the Arlington Ministerial Alliance.
