The Center has partnered with Arlington Water Utilities for its annual Water Awareness Through Education and Recreation (W.A.T.E.R.) Festival. There will be creek walks, story times, animal exploration walks and stream trailer demonstrations. The event is free and runs from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
If you're more of an inside learner, head to the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library Saturday between 1 and 3 p.m. Bring your curiosity and creativity with you to this come-and-go program. Drop in for engineering challenges, hands-on activities, and fun learning opportunities.
This weekend is your final chance to see the Keith Haring exhibit at the Arlington Museum of Art in Downtown. Haring was a prolific pop artist who died at just 31 years old from complications related to AIDS. Even if you're not familiar with his name, you'll likely recognize his work.
