Lincoln Square Shopping Center

The recent sale of the Lincoln Square Shopping Center in Arlington and its planned redevelopment has received another award, this time named as the Dallas Business Journal’s 2023 Best Real Estate Deal in the Rehab/Reuse category.

Trademark Property Co. purchased the 470,000-square-foot Lincoln Square shopping center in December. The company’s vision for 40-year-old property is a vibrant, high-quality mixed-use environment that includes a mix of office, multi-family and upgraded retail.

The 45-acre location, at the gateway of Arlington’s Entertainment District, sits at the high-profile southwest corner of Collins Street and Interstate 30. The City of Arlington entered into a 30-year public-private partnership with Trademark that requires an investment of at least $150 million into the property in the next six years while also collaborating with local residents and leaders on redevelopment plans. The Arlington City Council agreed to co-invest more than $14 million with the developer in exchange for the investment. The property was marketed nationally by Cushman & Wakefield.

Lincoln Square was also among 22 winners recognized by D CEO’s 2023 Commercial Real Estate Awards.
