Dog of the Week – Meet Zuko
This just over six months old male German Shepherd mix is brown and black in color and weighs 52 pounds. Look at the big smile on the face of this "EGG-cellent" dog that has been selected as one of the pets highlighted this week. While he may be considered a bigger dog it means he probably has a bigger heart to love you and your family. He does great when out in the play yard with staff or volunteers. Zuko appears to love being with people and sharing exercise time with "hoomans". Second Dog of the Week – Meet Jupiter
This two-year-old female Alaskan Husky mix is black and white in color and weighs 50 pounds. Here is another larger dog (like the planet Jupiter) with a large smile to match. Jupiter loves her visits to the play yard and has done well in meet and greets with prospective adopters. Like all of the shelter occupants, she is just waiting for her special someone to show up and take her to a new "furever" home. Due to the length of time that Jupiter has spent in the shelter VIP status has been achieved complete with a reduced adoption fee (currently $5).
